King County Metro should have one Route 5 bus and give the other route another number

    It doesn’t make much sense to me why 2 different bus routes have the same number. I am of course talking about the number 5. There’s #5 Northgate and #5 to Shoreline. When I was new to the city and had a job in Greenwood, I’d always end up getting to work 5 minutes late. So I decieded to take an earlier bus. You can imagine my shock had horror when I realized this bus was taking me to a different location. Instead of getting to work early I was 2 hours late.

    Since I was new to the area, it took me awhile to a) figure out where I was, and b) figure out how to get to were I wanted to be. In the end I got back on another 5; then got off on 103rd and walked to 134th Street because I was to scared to get on another bus.

    Why on earth do they have the same number if they aren’t the same route?
